Loan Admin Clerk - Granite Falls

Position Summary:

The Loan Admin Clerk will assist in coordinating loan documents for the closing of consumer, commercial, and real estate loan products to ensure full compliance and quality of loan documentation for funding. This position will resolve loan documentation issues through collaboration with the lending team. The Loan Admin Clerk will problem solve and process improvements in order to maintain and continuously improve loan operations policy, procedure, and performance.

The Loan Admin Clerk will receive calls and respond to customer inquiries and concerns, they will handle daily transactions and questions in accordance with Bank policies and procedures.

The level of this position is based on years of service, education and/or equivalent experience, knowledge level and skill set.

 

Essential Functions:

  1. Provide loan administration support to the Bank's Granite Falls, Echo, and Sacred Heart branch locations. 
  2. Travel between the Granite Falls, Echo, and Sacred Heart locations to assist branch lenders as needed. 
  3. Handle customer account transactions which may include verifying incoming cash, accurately dispersing cash, accepting various deposits and payment and cashing checks.
  4. Assist to provide internal approvals for the implementation of all new loans and changes to existing loans.
  5. Act as liaison with all customers regarding loan administration.
  6. Administer everyday work and evaluate all incoming mail, emails, faxes, and process payments.
  7. Manage communications between Loan Officers and customers to resolve all customer issues efficiently.
  8. Proficiency with Laser Pro, CSI NuPoint, Excel, and Word.
  9. Assist Loan officers with Consumer, Real Estate, Agriculture, and Commercial Lending per their request.
  10. Prepare Loan documents for all lending functions.
  11. Perform day-to-day loan maintenance.
  12. Maintain and organize loan documentation files.
  13. Analyze credit tracking reports.
  14. Perform credit checks and flood checks.
  15. Create loan comments.
  16. Work closely with internal and external customers to meet their needs.
  17. Ability to break down complex problems and arrive at the right solution.
  18. Ability to architect and drive change by enlisting support of management
  19. Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  20. Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of regulatory requirements as they relate to safety and soundness, compliance, and lending.
  21. Ability to prioritize workload.
  22. Assist co-workers as needed.
  23. This position requires a valid Driver’s License.

  26. Travel for trade and industry schools and seminars as needed.
  27. This position may require installation of a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) app on an employee’s personal mobile device. THE MFA apps are used to authenticate a user’s identity to the system for security purposes.
  28. Adhere to and comply with all applicable, federal, and state laws, regulations, and guidance, including those related to BSA/AML, as well as adhere to the Bank’s policies and procedures.
  29. Perform other duties as assigned and requested.

Education and Experience:

Required - High School diploma or GED, Etc. 

Required - Continuing Education to maintain job knowledge.

Preferred – Three to Five years of banking experience.

Preferred - Three to Five years Administrative experience and/or customer service experience.

Preferred - Proficiency in Microsoft Suites.
