STARTING WAGE RANGE: $62,920.00 - $71,500.00 Annually (depending upon experience)

JOB TYPE: Full Time (typically 50 hours per week, overtime is regularly available)
SCHEDULE
- Shift 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, typically Monday through Friday
- Shift length may vary by day

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Transfer Station Yard Attendant is responsible for overseeing the daily operation and coordination of the transfer station processes and the cleanliness of the yard. They will operate equipment to bundle and transfer refuse and recyclable debris within the transfer station. This can be manual work and is subject to all variations of weather. This role interacts daily with nearly all drivers working out of the Willmar yard, as the route drivers end their day by dumping their loads at the transfer station. Time management and flexibility are important facets of this position as tasks and requirements may change and require immediate action.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Must successfully complete and pass applicable pre-employment background check, driving record, physical and drug screening
- Ability to perform the physical requirements and demands of the position
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
EXPERIENCE
- 2 years or more of relevant work experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to work a consistent work schedule, as punctuality is required.
- Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing.
- Ability to safely operate large, heavy-duty vehicles.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, OR REGISTRATIONS
- Ability to provide or obtain a current valid Health Card (MEC).
