JOB DESCRIPTION
A Driver Trainer / Operations Supervisor may assist in leading operations and supervising day to day collection activities in one or more lines of business (rear load, front load, commercial, residential, industrial roll-off, semi and/or container delivery and pick-up) in a geographically dispersed area. Responsibilities can include managing Driver/laborer training and performance, maintaining schedules and managing daily route tasks. They may also observe work environments for compliance with all safety guidelines, suggest best practices for productivity and propose resolutions for any route issues. The Driver Trainer responsibilities of this position will primarily focus on providing quality training to newly hired Licensed Commercial Drivers (with CDL), Drivers as they earn their CDL, Drivers as they advance their CDL; as well as continuing education and required retraining following federal, state, Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and West Central Sanitation (WCS) safety compliance guidelines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Must successfully complete and pass applicable pre-employment background check, driving record, physical and drug screening
- Ability to perform the physical requirements and demands of the position
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 2-year Degree is required
EXPERIENCE
- 18 months or more of relevant work experience in transportation, driving or logistics is preferred
- 5 years of management experience supervising 10+ employees in labor or commercial driving is preferred
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered adequate

- CDL is preferred but not required (we will provide training to interested candidates)
- Knowledge of CDL requirements and ability to safely drive and operate large, heavy-duty vehicles
- Ability to work a consistent work schedule, as punctuality is required
- Ability to operate a tablet and basic computer programs (EX: MS Office products)
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, OR REGISTRATIONS
- Ability to provide a current Class D Minnesota Driver’s License
- Ability to provide or acquire a current Class A or Class B Minnesota (Commercial Driver’s License / Permit) including air-brakes, without restrictions (within specified time limits)
- Ability to provide or obtain a current valid Health Card (MEC).
