STARTING WAGE RANGE: $51,480.00 - $60,060.00 Annually (depending upon experience)

Drivers in this position operate box trucks with additional loading attachments. They prepare, load, deliver, exchange, remove, transport, and unload (full and empty) residential carts/containers to customer locations within approximately 70 miles of their work location. Safe driving is crucial when traveling and maneuvering the truck in high traffic / congested roadways, driveways, alleyways, and lots around other vehicles and under highlines. A high level of skill, especially regarding backing maneuvers, is essential to being successful in this role. Cart / Container Delivery is a position that does not immediately require a CDL. It is a nice first step toward earning a CDL and allows for hands-on experience. A successful driver in this position that attains their CDL may then be considered for a heavier truck route and a local route driver position. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Must successfully complete and pass applicable pre-employment background check, driving record, physical and drug screening.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements and demands of the position.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 2 years or more of relevant work experience in transportation, driving or logistics is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to operate large, heavy-duty vehicles.
- Current Minnesota Class D Driver’s License is required.
- Ability to provide or acquire a current Class A or Class B Minnesota Commercial Driver’s License / Permit, including air-brakes, without restrictions (WCS will provide the means to become licensed to qualified candidates).
- Ability to provide or obtain a current Health Card (MEC).
