We’re looking for a strategic and people-focused Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in guiding the financial strength and growth of an employee-owned company while helping to shape the future for every one of our employee-owners.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee the financial operations of the company, guiding its financial strategy, planning, and maintaining its fiscal stability.
- Provide strategic financial leadership to support growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability.
- Lead financial planning, reporting, and risk management with transparency and integrity.
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to shape business strategy and decision-making.
- Oversee accounting, treasury, and compliance functions.
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
- 8+ years of hands-on accounting managerial experience.
- Experience with multi-state corporate, sales tax, and payroll.
- Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income tax, insurance and banking knowledge.
- Excellent leadership skills, including mentoring, coaching, and motivating staff.
- Advanced skillset in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Exceptional written, verbal, and listening communication abilities.
- Proven experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or senior financial leader.
- Ability to balance big-picture vision with hands-on execution.
- A leader who values collaboration, people, and mentorship.
- Experience working with an ESOP company is helpful but not required.
- CMA and/or CPA certification preferred but not required.
