Ability to enter, compare, and present data in an efficient and accurate manner.
Develop and implement proper keeping of financial records, making use of current technologies.
Responsible for performing a variety of accounting and reporting duties related to area of accountability.
Responsible for the accuracy of data in the accounts and ensures accounting accuracy and integrity.
Maintain and balance the general ledger system by inputting and verifying data with that of the ERP systems.
Perform monthly reconciliations of tax accounts to the general ledger.
Assist with the submission of sales tax returns for all entities.
Research and implement sales tax rules and regulations.
Manage journal entries, and reconcile accounts for the monthly, quarterly and annual closing.
Assume ownership of duties as delegated by the Director of Finance.
Accomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership for completing new and different requests, including exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

REQUIREMENTS:

Strong organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
Strong attention to detail, time management and analytical skills.
Should possess a college degree in accounting.
Timeliness and promptness with attendance and assignments.
Show initiative to continue learning and develop skills.
Uphold Dooley’s Petroleum Inc.’s policies and procedures to meet company standards.
