Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager
The Position
The Construction Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager supports the planning and coordinating of activities of designated commercial and/or agricultural construction projects to ensure project goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
Essential Duties
- Maintain a relentless focus on meeting and exceeding customer needs and expectations
- Build first class relationships with customers, design team, subcontractors, and suppliers that reflect and support Marcus Construction’s core values
- Provide technical oversight, review, and engineering analysis of construction projects to ensure compliance with time, budget, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Review and approve specifications, designs, bids, contracts, drawings, change orders, and progress reports
- Monitor project progress; identify and assess engineering project risks and develop mitigation strategies and solutions
- Facilitate collaboration among project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities
- Visibly support and uphold the company’s strong safety culture
