Territory includes the following states: Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Montana, and Wyoming.
It is preferred that candidates live in the territory in which they are responsible.

The Regional Sales Representative position is responsible for developing relationships with prospective businesses and current customers in a wide variety of industries to create and grow sales of Northern Radiator products.
Northern Radiator provides high quality heating and cooling products for automotive, agricultural, truck, bus, industrial and automotive performance industries. Northern Radiator has been in business for over 53 years. Our headquarters, manufacturing facility, and primary distribution facility is located in Willmar, Minnesota with 19 regional distribution centers located throughout the U.S.

Regional Sales Representative Job Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent service to customers and prospects by being well versed in communicating our product information, product knowledge, programs, benefits, value, services, pricing and policies.
- Meet, greet, contact, and schedule appointments with prospective and current accounts in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
- Prepare a specific sales plan for all existing customers and prospective customer sales calls/meetings which will demonstrate and integrate Northern Radiator products and services into a value added and benefit-based presentation.
- Aggressively investigate all market opportunities and leads for potential new prospects and customers. This includes but is not limited to the review of trade journals, enthusiast publications, industry events, referrals, industry contacts, internet searches, corporate websites or appropriate travel.
- Utilize company provided CRM System to record, update and maintain detailed notes, correspondence and pertinent information of all sales trips, meetings, phone calls, sales activities and business contacts for active prospects and existing customers in your territory. Additional files may be needed and maintained to include specific company or industry information, current business activities and written correspondence.
- Travel to customers and prospects as well as represent Northern at corporate functions, trade shows, customer sites, open houses and other events as required and directed to promote Northern Radiator products.

Job Requirements:
Travel: Must be able to travel approximately 40-45% of the time.
- Must be able to drive a motor vehicle, possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in outside sales. Experience selling aftermarket automotive and heavy-duty products on a B2B basis is preferred.
- Must possess excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Must be able to effectively operate Microsoft Office programs, Word, and Excel, along with proficient computer and web skills to be trained on the use company CRM and business intelligence software.
- Comfortable with cold calling and developing new business.
- High level of business acumen, market knowledge, and sales planning.
- Self-starter who can develop account strategy, drive sales process, negotiate agreements and close sales.
- Excellent at building and nurturing relationships with customers, vendors and internal staff.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent presentation/public speaking skills.
