Job Coach

WCI was founded in 1962 and provides job skills, community job placement and non-vocational training to people with disabilities. We are looking for excellent candidates to help fulfill our mission by providing support and training to the individuals we serve.

Responsibilities of a Job Coach include:

• Provide one-on-one coaching to individuals currently employed, offering on-the-job support at their work sites to promote confidence, independence, and long-term success.

• Assist with workplace skills such as communication, time management, problem-solving, and task completion.

• Collaborate with employers, coworkers, team members, and support networks to ensure a positive work experience.

• Maintain accurate documentation and communication records.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience supporting individuals with disabilities is preferred.

• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy in daily tasks.

• Able to communicate clearly in written and verbal forms.

• Motivated to support others and celebrate their success while approaching each person with kindness, patience, and compassion.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

• Ability to pass Criminal Background Check.
