HR Lead (Generalist or Manager Level)
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a trusted business partner to the management team and employees in the navigation of employee relations issues, talent development and coaching, progressive discipline, and other inquiries.
- Support the development and execution of employee engagement initiatives and make recommendations for the enhancement of current processes and programs with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Identify and facilitate training and development opportunities in support of operational excellence and employee development.
- Promote a positive, supportive, and inclusive work environment focused on compliance with applicable labor laws and regulatory requirements.
- Source, recruit, and support the selection and onboarding of talent for both salaried and hourly positions.
- Maintain the integrity of employee records and other data within the HRIS and contribute to the enhancement of HR systems through additional modules, process improvements, and automation.
- Administer and support the continuous evaluation of compensation structures and benefits programs.
- Collect, analyze, and leverage HR metrics and data to support HR KPIs and strategic initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
CORE COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Demonstrated competency in functional areas of HR, including employment law (federal and multi-state), employee relations, compensation & benefits, HR systems, talent acquisition, OFCCP and AAP.
- Proven critical thinking skills and ability to make decisions and execute independently.
- Exemplary written and verbal communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Impeccable ability to operate with integrity, confidentiality, and compassion in sensitive situations.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in HR Management
- 5 years of HR Generalist/Manager experience in the commercial construction industry preferred
- Experience in HRIS administration required.
- SHRM PHR/SPHR certification a plus
