Agricultural Engineering Consultant

Anez Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Professional Engineer to lead engineering and environmental consulting projects serving livestock producers and agricultural businesses throughout the Midwest.
We're looking for someone who enjoys technical challenges, values client relationships, and has a passion for helping agriculture succeed while navigating today's environmental and regulatory requirements.
This position offers significant autonomy while working alongside a collaborative team of agricultural professionals.
Responsibilities
Lead engineering design for livestock facilities, manure management systems, and agricultural infrastructure.
Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, calculations, and reports.
Manage multiple engineering projects from planning through construction.
Serve as Engineer of Record on qualifying projects.
Work directly with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Prepare and oversee permitting documents and engineering submittals.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Participate in business development and client relationship management.
Desired Qualifications
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
Degree in Civil Engineering or Agricultural Engineering.
Experience with agricultural engineering and livestock facility design.
Working knowledge of environmental permitting and regulatory processes.
Experience working with agencies including:
Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA)
Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS)
Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA)
Strong project management experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to independently manage projects while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
