Part-Time Accountant
Employment Plus is assisting a local company searching for a Part-Time Accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily office functions, including front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, and greeting visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
- Manage calendar scheduling for meetings, appointments, and events, ensuring all logistics are coordinated seamlessly.
- Supervise property management staff and coordinate maintenance requests, payables, and billing.
- Handle vendor management by sourcing supplies, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong relationships with service providers.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records using QuickBooks or similar accounting software; oversee payroll processing and human resources functions.
- Organize and manage filing systems and ensure compliance with recordkeeping standards.
- Assist in budgeting efforts by tracking expenses, preparing reports, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Proven experience in office administration or office management roles with strong clerical and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams within an office environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, calendar management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of vendor management practices, budgeting principles, bookkeeping, and payroll processing.
- Excellent communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette; capable of managing front desk duties effectively.
- Experience in event planning, training, & development initiatives, and human resources functions is highly desirable.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
