Bank Teller Responsibilities:
  • Provides account services to customers by processing deposits, loan payments, cashing checks, processing savings withdrawals, and recording night and mail deposits.
  • Sells cashier’s checks, traveler’s checks, Visa Gift & Visa Travel Cards.
  • Answers questions in person or on telephone and refers customers to other bank services as requested.
  • Records transactions by logging cashier’s checks, traveler’s checks, and other special services; preparing currency transaction reports.
  • Cross-sells bank products by answering inquiries, informing customers of new services, ask questions to uncover customers’ needs, and directing customers to a new accounts representative or loan officer.
  • Completes customer requests to close accounts, order for checks, completing safe-deposit box procedures.
  • Daily balancing of cash drawer.
  • Maintains supply of cash and currency and selling excess cash and mutilated currency to head teller.
  • Complies with bank operations and security procedures.
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects bank operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Work Hours & Benefits
Hours rotate 7:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. and 8:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
