Willmar Public Schools is currently seeking applicants for the position of Bilingual Paraprofessional – English and Spanish Speaking.
 
The Bilingual Paraprofessional provides academic support for limited English-speaking students, assists second language students in reading and language development, and communicates with students, teachers, school personnel, and families in two different languages (English and Spanish).

Rate of Pay $17.25 per hour
Hours Per Day 7
Schedule (Approximately) 7:45 am – 3:15 pm
Working Days per Year 173 – School Calendar 2026-2027

Qualifications Required
  • Bilingual speaking and writing 
  • General knowledge of the practices, methods and techniques used in the teaching of other languages.
  • Basic proficiency in routine aspects of a Bilingual Paraprofessional.
  • Planning activities that relate to similar situations and involves choices among familiar alternatives.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Bilingual required (will be required to do a written and oral test.)
  • Experience of up to one year in a job-related field (i.e., working with children and families; working with diverse communities and families; etc.)
