JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources and Marketing Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting both HR and marketing initiatives. This position involves contributing to various projects aimed at enhancing client services, ensuring compliance, and promoting JR Business Solutions' brand. The role requires a detail-oriented and creative individual who works well with others and can manage diverse responsibilities effectively.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Human Resources Support

  • Assist in revising, updating, and formatting employee handbooks and policies and programs for clients.
  • Research and ensure handbook updates comply with current employment laws and best practices.
  • Support HR projects such as open enrollment communications and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Manage tasks related to job postings, candidate tracking, and recruitment processes.
Marketing
  • Develop and schedule engaging content for JR Business Solutions’ social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Facebook.
  • Collaborate on marketing strategies to build brand awareness and reach new clients.
  • Design and send out monthly newsletters to clients and prospects.
  • Create branded content for giveaways, promotions, and client appreciation events.
  • Track and analyze social media and marketing performance metrics to refi ne strategies.
Administrative Duties
  • Assist with calendar management, deadlines, and client project coordination.
  • Collaborate on presentations, proposals, and other client-facing materials.
  • Provide general administrative support as needed to ensure smooth business operations.

Educational and Experience
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Communication, or related field (open to college students pursuing this degree).
  • 2+ years of experience in HR, marketing, or similar experience.
  • Experience working with others in a service-based role.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Proficiency with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) and content creation tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creativity and a keen eye for detail in marketing and branding efforts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, or other graphic design tools.

Job Status: Non-Exempt, Part-Time
Pay Rate: $22/hour
20 hours/week
