About Us

JMD Manufacturing has been providing customers with precision machining and manufacturing services for over 38 years. JMD Manufacturing provides services to a broad range of industries from agriculture, food processing, equipment manufacturing, repairs, aerospace, and everything in between.
JMD Manufacturing is capable of machining and fabricating most types of metal and plastic parts as well as assemblies. Our JMD Manufacturing team is dedicated to meeting our customers’ needs of design and manufacturing from piece parts in any quantity, custom machining, part replication and prototyping with over 3 decades of experience. JMD Manufacturing’s facility of 22,000 square feet offers machining capabilities on CNC vertical milling and turning equipment, Swiss screw machining capabilities along with welding and fabricating. We also offer computer aided design services for mechanical layout, 3D modeling, and drafting.
JMD Manufacturing also produces its own line of products brought online by the original owner, Ray Johnson. The Farm Drainage Lift Pump has been custom designed and manufactured since 1988 with close to 500 customers utilizing them today. Our Swinging Mailbox Posts, which meet the Minnesota Department of Transportation criteria’s standard plate #9350B, have been in production since 1996. These products are available to the public at our shop just north of Willmar off Highway 71.
