Kitchen and Bath Designer

We are looking for an outgoing team member to join our Kitchen Fair showroom in Willmar, MN. This person will provide quality customer service and design of kitchens and baths for new construction and remodel scenarios.

Job Duties:
• Solicit new accounts, conduct job site visits, and prospect for new projects
• Greet prospective clients and assess their needs
• Assist customers with cabinetry, countertops, flooring, and hardware selections
• Design to spec and customer requests
• Interpret customer ideas into realistic plans
• Conduct pre-construction site inspections and measurements
• Prepare material bids and design proposals
• Meet with contractors, plumbers, electricians, and cabinet installers as needed
• Communicate deadlines, expectations, and needs with vendors, customers, and management
• Assist in collection of payments due at the time of order and delivery
• Manage several projects simultaneously

Requirements: 
A degree in Interior Design or 3-5 years related experience. Knowledge of Design Flex (Formerly 20/20 Design) or willing to learn. Have basic computer skills. Excellent communication skills. Basic construction knowledge is a plus but not required. Must have reliable transportation to drive to jobsites.
