Insurance Agent
The successful candidate for this position enjoys working with people and finds satisfaction in problem-solving.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain rapport with prospective clients, clients, and co-workers
- Handle inquiries and requests in a prompt, professional manner
- Maintain records of interactions and actions taken on accounts
- Educate prospective and existing clients about insurance products and options
- Market coverage with various carriers to obtain formal coverage proposals
- Present proposals and onboard new clients
- Conduct client coverage reviews
- Conduct day-to-day account servicing
- Process and review policy changes and renewals
- Report claims and assist with claim resolution
- Handle billing inquiries
- Process cancellations and offboard clients
- Assist carriers with inquiries on client accounts
- Work well in a team environment and independently
- Willing to take the initiative on tasks and be self-motivated
- Organized and detail oriented
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Able to communicate clearly and kindly with colleagues and clients
- Willing to learn and share knowledge
- Willing to work within designated platforms including Nexsure agency management system, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and various carrier websites.
- Prior insurance experience including Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license is preferred
Pay: $20-30 per hour depending on experience, plus commission
