POSITION AVAILABLE: Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant Long-Term Substitute
POSITION LOCATION: SWWC Service Cooperative with placement in the Willmar, MN area.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: The Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates students who have a variety of needs related to neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, sensorimotor, or cardiopulmonary conditions, which affect their ability to access school. The PT is responsible for developing, implementing, and/or monitoring therapeutic programs and providing consultation to school staff and parents in order for the student to benefit from special education. Travel is required. Valid driver’s license required.
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides therapy services to children with special needs within the school system under the direction of the Physical Therapist. Travel is required. Valid driver’s license required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
PT: Must be licensed by the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist.
PTA: Associate’s Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
SALARY:
Long-term substitute position working approximately 12 weeks beginning on or about December 15, 2025.
PT: Bachelor’s degree salary range of $50,855 to $71,248. Master’s salary range of $60,646 to $92,477. PhD salary range of $70,196 to $94,068. Salary depending on education, qualifications, abilities, and experience. Daily rate of pay according to salary schedule.
PTA: Hourly pay range $27 - $33.75/hour, dependent upon education, qualifications, and experience.
