Willmar Public Schools is currently seeking applicants for the position of Elementary Instructional Coach - (multiple positions)
 
Under the direction of the Building Principal and Director of Teaching and Learning, the Instructional Coach supports improved student learning by partnering with teachers to effectively implement the Willmar Public
Schools Instructional Framework and strengthen Tier 1 Core Instruction. The Coach partners with teachers to strengthen standards-based learning by collaboratively using proficiency scales as a shared foundation for
planning instruction, providing feedback, and designing meaningful assessments.
 

Position Elementary Instructional Coach -
(multiple positions)
Location Lakeland,  Kennedy or Roosevelt Elementary School
Rate of Pay Based upon credentials including Education and Experience as per Teacher Master agreement.
 
Bachelor’s Degree Range: $52,870 to $85,544
Master’s Degree Range: $60,558 to $91,310
Master’s + 40/PhD/PsyS/EdS/EdD Range: $68,246 to $93,232
Hours Per Day 7.5 Hours Per Day
Schedule (Approximately) 7:30am - 3:30pm
Working Days per Year 182 Teacher Work Days, 2026-2027 School Year

Qualifications Required  
  • Must have a MN Elementary Education Teaching License
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 – 5 years of successful classroom instruction with evidence of positive improvement in student learning on
Minnesota Academic Standards over time.
