Wage: $43,912 - $95,542: Dependent on education and years of experience, There are step limits in the contract that we are limited to, with the highest salary delegated at around $71,893. This position does have a 2.5% differential pay on top of the listed salary range.

Minimum Qualifications (required skills to enter the job; must be identified on application materials)
Education Requirement:
- Post-secondary diploma or equivalent certificate in automotive services technology.
Occupational Experience Requirement:
- Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in automotive service technology.
Recency Requirement:
- One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
Professional Requirement:
- Current ASE certification in the areas in which the faculty member is teaching.
Preferred Qualifications (desired but not required)

Teaching and curriculum development experience

Previous experience developing and delivering instruction at the secondary or post-secondary level including demonstrated skill in curriculum design, assessment methods, and student engagement.

ASE Master-Level Certification or additional certifications

Possession of ASE advanced certificates or manufacturer/vendor specific certifications.

Hybrid/Electric Vehicle expertise
-
Documented experience or certifications in alternative fuel, hybrid, or electric vehicle systems, reflecting up-to-date industry knowledge of emerging technologies.

Industry Partnerships and Professional Involvement
-
Active involvement in automotive professional organizations, partnerships with manufacturers, or a track record of securing grants, external funding, or sponsorships for program enhancements.
