Loan Admin Officer - Watertown
Position Summary:
The Loan Admin Officer will provide professional and knowledgeable assistance to borrowers along with providing administrative a clerical support as required to all Loan Officers and the Credit Manager. This position will receive calls and respond to customer inquiries and concerns. The Loan Administration Officer must identify problems and solutions that best meet the Bank's and customer needs. This position will perform duties related to approving and making sound loans with the Banks polices and established credit committee approved guidelines.
The level of this position is based on years of service, education and/or equivalent experience, knowledge level and skill set.

- Maintain existing loan portfolio.
- Prepare loan documentation as required by Loan Officers.
- Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of regulatory requirements as they relate to safety and soundness, compliance, and operations.
- Take loan applications and approve or reject loan requests in accordance with loan policies and procedures.
- Possess knowledge of regulations governing lending practices.
- Compile and advise accurate information to customers and management.
- Organize loan files according to policy for each type of loan.
- Request and file required paperwork for each type of loan.
- Verify account balances, give out account information to customers, print copies of items and/or statements from customer accounts.
- Provide customer service to applicant(s) throughout the entire loan process.
- Communicate all document changes and/or additions to Loan Officer(s).
- Maintain a general knowledge of all loan products and cross-sell these products.
- Maintain loan accounts on the Bank’s software and collect loan files and documentation for audit and review purposes.
- Provide office service by implementing administration systems, procedures, and policies.
- Organize, compile, maintain and prepare daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports and documents for customers and management.
- Be proactive in obtaining new loan customers for the bank.
- Develop referral networks, suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and service to accomplish the Bank's goals.
- Ability to break down complex problems and arrive at the right solution.
- Ability to architect and drive change by enlisting support of management.

- Travel for trade and industry schools and seminars as needed.
- This position may require installation of a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) app on an employee’s personal mobile device. THE MFA apps are used to authenticate a user’s identity to the system for security purposes.
- Adhere to and comply with all applicable, federal, and state laws, regulations, and guidance, including those related to BSA/AML, as well as adhere to the Bank’s policies and procedures.

Education and Experience:
Required - High School diploma or GED., etc.
Required - Continuing Education to maintain job knowledge.
Preferred - Three to Five years of banking experience.
Preferred - Three to Five years of administrative experience and/or customer service experience.
Preferred - Proficiency in Microsoft Suites.
