Parts Counter Professional


Responsibilities

• Provides excellent service to customers at the counter and on the phone 
• Provides parts for the service department and other dealership departments
• Provides recommendation for sales of additional related or needed parts or accessories
• Processes orders in a timely and accurate manner
• Completes orders by communicating with customers on pick-up or delivery status
• Locates and obtains in-stock, out-of-stock, and non-stocked merchandise for customers
• Maintains inventory integrity by verifying and receipting-in of shipments, placing parts in their 
proper inventory locations, assisting in cycle counts, following up on inventory discrepancies, and 
expediting issues by reporting to the department manager
• Assists with maintaining professional showroom image and merchandise displays

• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
• Maintains a tidy, professional personal appearance 
• Reports to work on time
• Employs good time-management skills and has the ability to work independently
• Demonstrates good work ethic
• Communicates effectively one-on-one and in groups
• Maintains positive, professional working relationships dealership wide
• Works cooperatively with co-workers and management
• Exhibits a constant commitment to customer service, promoting the dealership to customers 
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
• Completes required training
• Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products 


Experience and Qualifications
• One or more years' experience with parts sales preferred
• Experience connecting with customers and establishing rapport
• Understanding of the selling processes
• Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently
• Able to bend, lift and carry
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record required

Haug Implement Co. provides an estimated base pay range. The actual starting pay offer will account for our overall wage and benefit package, applicant experience, training, skill, and internal equity among our existing employees. This is a salaried position with a potential hiring offer range of $60,000-75,000 annually, based on factors listed above.
