Join area businesses, workforce partners, and community leaders for a conversation focused on strengthening our local workforce and connecting employers with practical training solutions.

Learn how the Minnesota Dual-Training Pipeline can help employers develop a skilled workforce through a competency-based, earn-and-learn model that combines related instruction with on-the-job training. The program is designed to help businesses build and enhance training approaches that address their specific workforce needs.

The Minnesota Dual-Training Pipeline currently supports employers in advanced manufacturing, agriculture, child care, health care services, information technology, legal cannabis, and transportation.

During this community conversation, participants will:

• Discuss workforce challenges, successes and innovative workforce approaches in our community
• Learn about Minnesota Dual-Training Pipeline and Youth Skills Training programs
• Share ideas and suggestions about how best to meet workforce needs
• Network with attendees from area businesses and workforce partners
• Ask questions of the Department of Labor and Industry staff members
