DESCRIPTION:Did you know our state of mind can play a large role in our overall health and wellbeing? Studies show that if we practice resiliency tools regularly\, which improves our ability to cope with change and unexpected events\, our overall health and wellbeing can be enhanced. In this presentation you will learn about the Bounce Back Project\, which is centered around different resiliency tools\; learn what resiliency tools are and why you should utilize them\; and practice a resiliency tool. The presentation will be followed with a question and answer session. \n\n\n\nMeet the Presenters\n\n\n\nMikayla Holm is a Community Heath Strategist / Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP) Coordinator for Kandiyohi County Public Health. \n\n\n\nAmber Silva is the Southwest Regional Wellness Specialist for Carris Health ? CentraCare. One of her work focus areas is co-leading the Kandiyohi County Bounce Back Project. Amber has also been to resiliency training lead by Dr. Bryan Sexton at Duke University\, one of the leading researchers on resiliency.
