DESCRIPTION:Ridgewater College is excited to welcome photographer Xavier Tavera to the Willmar campus for a gallery presentation and reception on Wednesday\, October 22\, 2025\, at 5 p.m. in the Fine Arts Theatre.\n\n\n\nRidgewater College is showing Xavier Tavera: Willmar Portraits\, now through November 7 in the Willmar Campus Fine Arts Gallery. Tavera has created eleven new portraits for the exhibition\, highlighting Willmar's Latin culture. The unique presentation consists of newsprint papers tacked onto gallery walls with copies available for visitors. Tavera visited Willmar in early 2025 to seek out subjects and create photographs that highlight his straightforward and conscientious style.
