Thank you for SupportingYour Chamber!

Even though there is not an e-newsletter scheduled for today due to the holidays, we still wanted to reach out and thank our investors as we look forward to the new year.

Your business should have or should be receiving your 2021 membership window cling by year end via US mail. We encourage you to proudly display your decal in a prominent location to let customers know that you are an investor in a progressive, strong, and growing area-wide business community.

2020 has been an unforgettable year and as we all start to slowly mend form the impact of COVID, there is no better time than now to stick together as a community and support each other.

This year your financial investment has helped the Chamber:

  • Implement and maintain over 70 programs designed to strengthen the economic base of our community, such as Leadership Perspectives, Chamber Connections, and the Public Policy Committee.
  • Provide continuous COVID-19 resources and updates on our website and communications.
  • Share a Local Take-Out and Delivery Guide.
  • Distribute over 30,000 masks in Kandiyohi County.
  • Assist local businesses with CARES Act funding through the city and county.
  • Record a video in four languages with the Southwest Initiative Foundation that explains the restaurant guidelines to keep employees and customers safe.
  • Continue to advocate for small businesses and shopping local.

Your Chamber has never worked harder for the community than we have in 2020. With the cancellation and/or postponement of several events (50% of our revenue), combined with the loss of over 70 members, your Chamber needs your support now more than ever!

Four Ways to Support Your Chamber:

  1. If your business is in a position to move up a membership level, your increased investment would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Consider “gifting” a membership to another business that may not be able to afford their renewal or joining dues.
  3. Reach out to other businesses in the community and ask if they are members. If they are, thank them! If they are not, encourage them to join the Chamber to become invested members in the community. For a list of current Chamber investors please click here.
  4. Shop local and support small business.

Your membership is an investment in our community and a commitment to goodwill, education, and development. Contact the Chamber to learn more!
