Wage: $51,303 - $94,542: Dependent on education and years of experience, there are step limits in the contract that we are limited to, with the highest salary delegated at around $71,893.

Position Summary
Join our Welding program and help train the next generation of skilled welders for high demand careers in our region and beyond. We’re looking for an experienced welding professional who is excited to share their knowledge and help students build strong, real-world skills in GMAW, GTAW,SMAW, and gas welding, cutting, and brazing. Students learn to weld in all positions and with a variety of materials, giving them the confidence to step directly into the workforce. In this 1-year temporary full-time role, you’ll teach hands on courses, mentor students at all experience levels and play a key role in connecting them with regional employers. You’ll create a supportive, safety focused learning environment and encourage students to use advising, tutoring, career services and other college resources to stay on track. We’re a student-centered community and technical college that values practical experience and a passion for teaching. Minimum Qualifications (required skills to enter the job; must be identified on application materials)             
 
Education Requirement

  • Diploma in welding.
Occupational Experience Requirement
  • Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in welding.
Recency Requirement
  • One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
