Job Description
Summary:  The project manager will manage all aspects of firm-wide projects from inception to completion and in some cases will be the liaison between Christianson and the client.   Demonstrates the ability to be forward thinking to see a potential issue so it can be addressed before it becomes a reality.  This person will collaborate with many different people throughout the organization to keep workflow on track to meet deadlines.
Essential Functions:
1. Scheduling:
  • Prepare fall and winter season schedules
  • Meet with supervisors/managers/partners to get projections of time needed and due dates for each project
  • Communicate directly with project in-charges affected by conflicts.  Provide input for potential solutions for addressing conflicts.
  • On-going maintenance and review of scheduled hours to determine hour availability for new projects and/or project transitions
  • Review staff project shelves and identify opportunities associated with projects, as it relates to staff capacity or project transitions
  • Establish inventory observation schedule and identify any travel schedule concerns
  • Provide diversity in project teams to allow staff to work with multiple seniors, supervisors,  managers and partners
  • Ensure consistent time entry and budget entry by staff
  • Run various time entry reports for supervisors/managers/partners and accumulate information as requested relating to projects and hours incurred
  • Work with managers and partners on allocation of projects consistent with career path goals of members of the department
  • Perform calculations of departmental key performance metrics
2. Compliance Consulting Administrative Work (RIN Tracking):
  • Correspondence with clients to request/receive information
  • Updating RIN tracker tool
  • Pull data samples for testing
  • Report conversion for data checks
3. Communication:
  • Communicate with in charge(s) relating to changes in scheduling or projects
  • Communicate with staff and supervisors on project deadlines to ensure time is scheduled appropriately so that deadlines are met.
  • Positively represent the firm by communicating effectively with clients.
  • Interact effectively with co-workers in the department and throughout the firm.

Initiative:  Recognizing the broader implications of a project; doing all that should be done, not just as directed.
Education:  Minimum two year degree
Experience:  1-2 years of experience in an office setting preferred.  Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Supervisory Responsibility:  None
