Event Description
Medieval bagpipe virtuoso from Milan, Isacco Colombo, joins The Rose Ensemble to explore the world of 12th-16th century Italian music through the eyes of Saint Francis of Assisi and his followers. Experience a wonderful variety of vocal and instrumental music, including beautiful Gregorian chants; ethereal choral works from the cathedrals of Florence and Rome and amazing Umbrian and Tuscan folk songs featuring a variety of exotic medieval and Renaissance instruments.
